Experimentation in Daily Life: Photolabo Hibi, Japan | It’s all go at the Photolabo Hibi. We spoke to our Kyoto-based stockist Etsuko Matsui, as part of our Lomography Partners series, discussing everything from what they offer in their ‘multi-space for photography’ to how they see the future of film photography. At the analogue lab, store, cafe and gallery they love to share the spirit of Lomography with their customers and are planning exhibitions and events to help everyone enjoy photography more freely! |

What does Lomography mean to you? |
“Lomography for us is about making the photography experience more creative and fun.” |
What is your favorite Lomography product and why? |
“Color Negative Film series. They have different ISO ratings and we like the ease of use when it comes to colors. The films allow us to play with it and pursue our favorite photos. A lot of our customers are fans, too.” |

Finding Calm Amongst the Chaos | We’re always keen to discover new places through the lens of our Lomographers. We especially love it when we get to see those cities that are a bit more off the beaten track. So we were super happy when Lomographer n_u_m_b_f_a_c_e braved the cold streets of the infamous Kabukicho district in Shinjuku, Tokyo and showed us the mystery of this bustling neighborhood. |
